It is reported that the much criticised Tony Hayward maybe on the verge of resigning.
“We know that Tony Hayward is leaving his position and he will introduce his successor,” Igor Sechin told reporters ahead of his meeting with the embattled BP boss.

The clean up spend is now running at £100m per day! .. yes per day. One can only imagine the good that could have been done to the environment with the money if the tragedy had not happened.
Spare a second and imagine what we could achieve if we spent an extra £100m per day on:
- PassivHaus dwellings – which achieve a 90% energy saving compared to existing housing.
- Promotion and incentives to recycle – Would we then ask can I recyle this
- Subsidised energy saving products
- Renewable energy investment – which may already reach $200 Billion in 2010
